Angela Szameit
Founder / Retired Practitioner, MA, MCP
Angela is the founder of both Georgetown and Newmarket
Counselling Centres. From the beginning, Angela has had a
passion for maintaining a holistic approach to therapeutic
care. She has extensive years of therapy experience and her
expertise encompass diverse and specialized treatment
approaches. While no longer practicing psychotherapy, Angela
continues to actively engage with the team to collaborate on
ways to make mental health services accessible to all. It is
her ongoing goal to be able to offer current and diverse
mental health treatment services to the communities. Her
compassion, insight and extensive experience in the mental
health field, supported by her teams, enable her to assist
individuals in focusing on their well-being and living their
best quality of life.
Danielle Lenarduzzi
Registered Psychotherapist / Clinical Supervisor, MCP
Danielle offers a holistic and client-centered approach to
counselling which gives her a deep understanding of internal
and external factors contributing to your mental health
functioning. She will collaborate with you to create a
treatment plan best suited to your unique needs. Her
treatment goal is to help you build on your strengths to
achieve empowerment and positive behaviour change, using a
combination of therapeutic interventions. Danielle has
experience working in various community settings, supporting
clients of all abilities including; individuals ages 5+,
couples, and families, while always remaining empathetic and
respectful of diverse backgrounds.

Tenny Keshishian
Registered Psychotherapist, MCP
Tenny offers an individualistic and holistic approach based
on your unique needs. She recognizes the influence of the
internal and external components of our lives and
incorporates them to aid your journey toward growth and
development. She has worked within a diverse variety of
community settings, with families, couples, and individuals
ages 10 and older. As a Registered Psychotherapist, Tenny
utilizes a combination of varying therapeutic interventions,
including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical
Behavioural Therapy, and EMDR. Most of all, she offers
compassionate, flexible and non-judgemental support while
working to empower you and meet your goals.

Megan Brausewetter
Registered Social Worker, MSW, RSW
Megan practices from a strength based and client-centred
approach, based on each person's individual needs and
experience. Megan recognizes that support looks different
for each person and believes in meeting you where you are
and working in collaboration to best achieve your goals. She
provides a safe, non-judgmental and compassionate space to
explore, drawing from modalities such as Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness.

Shelby Singh
Registered Psychotherapist, MCP
Shelby offers a client-centred and strengths-based approach
to her therapeutic care. She ensures to offer empathy
towards her clients as she understands that taking the step
to attend therapy can be challenging. Shelby is committed to
offering a positive therapeutic setting where she can
collaborate with clients towards their desired
transformation. She offers trauma informed care and is well
versed in a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches
including; solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural
therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and narrative
therapy. Shelby has experience working in diverse community
settings and supports children, teen, and adult populations.

Diba Karimian Anaraki
Registered Psychotherapist, MCP (Qualifying)
Diba offers a holistic, collaborative, and client-centred
approach to therapy, grounded in empathy. She understands
that seeking support can feel vulnerable and strives to
create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard
and supported. Diba works from a trauma-informed and
strengths-based perspective, drawing on evidence-based
approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT),
emotion-focused strategies, and mindfulness-based
interventions. She has experience working in community and
clinical settings and supports children (ages 5+),
adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds in
navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, emotional
regulation, and life transitions.

Stef Fulchini
Registered Psychotherapist, MCP (Qualifying)
Stef takes a person-centered, trauma-informed, and harm
reduction approach rooted in empathy, curiosity, and respect
for each client's unique story. Guided by humanistic values,
she believes that healing begins in a space where people
feel genuinely safe, seen, and supported to show up as they
are. With a background in social services, Stef has worked
with youth and adults aged 16 and up, navigating anxiety,
depression, and suicidal ideation using cognitive
behavioural therapy. She has also supported individuals
across various settings through trauma, and concurrent
disorders. She integrates cognitive behavioural and
psychodynamic approaches to support clients build insight,
shift patterns, and move toward meaningful change at their
own pace. Stef is passionate about supporting individuals to
reconnect with their strengths, and reminding each client of
the deep and beautiful power they already carry within them.
Tracey Robertson
Director of Administration and Mental Health Services
Tracey oversees the administration and mental health
services offered for both Georgetown Counselling Centre and
Newmarket Counselling Centre. As the Director, Tracey works
more “behind the scenes” with supporting all
staff, overseeing client care services, and ensuring success
of the day to day operations for both the centres. In
addition, Tracey offers ongoing support and the most up to
date training to our staff and colleagues. She is very
dedicated to our cause with supporting mental health.
